Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert: Foo Fighters give drummer a loving send-off

The star was singing Times Like These when he stopped to gather his feelings on the verse: "It's conditions such as these you figure out how to cherish once more." Prior, Grohl portrayed Hawkins as his "dear companion, bandmate and sibling". He said of Hawkins "no other person could make you grin or giggle or move or sing like he could". "Furthermore, for those of you that respected him from far off, I'm certain you've all felt exactly the same thing," Grohl added. "So sing and move and snicker and cry and shout and make some commotion so he can hear us at the present time."
